Karthik K Iyengar | President
Karthik has 20+ years of experience in IT and has led global teams specializing in Data Analytics, Cloud and Business Intelligence. Karthik is passionate about giving back to the society and CLLF is a cause that closely resonates with his philosophy of helping the underprivileged children in India and around the globe. Karthik's vision for CLLF is to scale the organization up to be able to support multiple children financially so that they can afford quality health care.
Amit Arora | Vice President
Amit is the Founder of CLLF, and established its mission & vision based on personal experiences. Amit's vision to provide make cancer treatment financially worry free for families who have kids with cancer.
Priscilla Amalraj | Board Member
Priscilla Amalraj is the acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) at IEEE leading the Information Technology team. Priscilla is a senior executive with 25+ years of experience focused on technology strategy and transformation, building high performance teams and improving the end user experience.
Prior to this role, Priscilla held various roles at IEEE including:
Senior Director of Global IT Business relationships at IEEE, leading technology strategy and stakeholder management for all lines of business at IEEE. Priscilla led IEEE's Digital Transformation, including establishing IEEE's Mobile Center of Excellence, Innovation Lab, Digital Solutions & Enterprise Web Applications, Enterprise Web Services, Business Analytics Center of Excellence, Test Engineering, Global IT and Cloud adoption.
Priscilla spearheaded IEEE's GDPR initiative and established an enterprise wide Data privacy & Compliance Program.
She led the technology efforts for the implementation of IEEE's Business Platform project to introduce a new e-Commerce system with significant improvements to the member experience, which was launched on schedule and under budget in 2012.
Before joining IEEE in 1995, Priscilla worked as Senior Software Engineer at AT&T and Ashok Leyland Information Technology Ltd
Priscilla is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), and holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, India. She completed several executive programs at Stanford University and Rutgers University.
Priscilla is a Senior member of the IEEE since Aug 2000 and a member of ASAE. Priscilla enjoys travel and volunteers her time mentoring youth and young adults.
Mahalakshmi Sankaran | Treasurer
Mahalakshmi (Maha) Sankaran is the director of B2B Growth Marketing at DoorDash, where she leads a team responsible for acquiring, growing, and retaining merchant partners and businesses across Marketplace, SaaS, DoorDash Ads and DoorDash for Business. Maha has more than 15+ years of experience in B2B demand generation and growth marketing in SaaS, Technology, and Adtech companies. Before this role, she led acquisition and growth for Amazon Web Services. She also led the digital marketing and demand generation teams for one of Amazon’s biggest launches last year, “Buy with Prime.” Maha is also an adjunct professor at NYU SPS graduate program, teaching digital marketing and marketing analytics
Deepti Pillay | Board Member
Deepti is a NJ real estate specialist with a unique blend of experience that fuels her passion for helping people find their dream homes.
For the past 8 years, she has been navigating the NJ market, but her journey started way before that. Her background in psychology, sociology, accounting, sales & marketing has given her a multifaceted perspective on people, numbers, and the art of the deal.
What does that mean for her clients? She is data-driven with a creative spark, always thinking outside the box to find solutions that work for her clients. She excels at de-escalating situations using her subtle yet effective approach towards negotiating, and approaches everything with empathy and understanding.
But Deepti's passion extends beyond real estate. She is also the cofounder of Thriving Together NJ, a women's empowerment group creating a safe space for women to connect, grow, and thrive.
She is a wife and a mama to 2 adorable (but sometimes rambunctious) kiddos. Juggling it all can be a wild ride, but it also fuels her positive energy and drive to help others achieve their goals. And she aims to bring this same energy and passion towards the CLLF mission.
When she am not finding forever homes for her clients, she creates mood boards and thumb through books. She finds immense joy in spending time with her family, hunting down obscure hole-in-the wall delicious eateries, traveling to beautiful spots around the world, creating art and listening to podcasts about cutting edge innovation in biohacking, tech and business.
Dr. Pooja Jain | Board advisor
Dr. Pooja Jain is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. She also holds joint appointment as a Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy within DUCOM in addition to a membership in the Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center, Thomas Jefferson University. She is the appointed Secretary of the International Retrovirology Association (IRVA), and the Chair of 22nd International Conference on Retrovirology: HTLV and Related Retroviruses (https://htlv2026.org/). Dr. Jain is well known internationally for her original research work in the field of retrovirus-induced cancer and neuroinflammation and has received numerous awards. Dr. Jain has been successful in receiving and maintaining National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding as a Principal Investigator since last two decades. She has authored over 75 high impact peer-reviewed publications, over 350 scientific abstracts, and delivered 100s of invited talks all around the United States and across the globe.
